Each year the President of the Unitarian Women's League nominates a charity for which funds are raised nationally. Proceeds from the lunch will contribute to the national fundraising. A cheque will be presented to the charity at the 2019 annual meetings of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches.

The Women’s League have raised over £200,000 over the last 40 years for a range of charitable causes in Britain and internationally. These include many health related charities as well as work in North West India, particularly in sustaining the work and legacy of Unitarian minister, Rev Margaret Barr in the Khasi Hills in North East India.
